You know, for a drunk off my ass entry, that last one was remarkably coherent. And well spelled, too. In fact, I think I may have only misspelled words in French. Of course, I'm probably making up for that by misspelling a dozen words right now.

Shit, I'm tired. Goodnight.

Well, consider Godfather I watched. However, I drank several beers first, and spent lots of time addressing peoples' needs. So, I really need to watch it again one day when I'm not so busy, and not so drunk. :)

Nevertheless, the party was a success. Of course, I forgot to take any pictures. d'oh. C'est la vie.

Well, the brew is brewed, the Dee Vee Dee movies are in da house, and all that's left to do is wait for all the peeps to show up. Godfather Weekend is on! :) (Okay, well I'm not quite ready. I gotta clean some more, print out labels for the new Autocrat brew, buy stuff for people to eat, pace, sleep, ditch the sore throat I have, and go to work.)

For those not in the know, as if anyone who's not a close friend of mine reads this, Godfather Weekend is our little celebration of the release of the Godfather Trilogy on DVD, everyone's favorite home video format. Somehow, despite being a fan of good film, and a fan of mobster movies, I've never seen any of the Godfather movies! However, by the time I'd realized the grandiose blunder I'd made all those years, DVD had weaseled it's way into my life, and so I decided to wait it out so I could watch the movies in style.

Truth be told, as much as it'll be nice to watch the movies, the most fun of the weekend will simply be having the chance to relax with lots of old friends. It's always nice to get everyone back together. I'm convinced we'll all be hangin' out when we're all in old geezers homes, making fun of each other 'cause our wooden teeth keep falling out.

I'll try to check back in with updates over the weekend for those who can't make it, along with reviews of the movies as I see 'em. We're watching Godfather I tomorrow night, Godfather II on Saturday sometime, and Godfather III on Sunday afternoon, if we have the time.

Hey! Just for kicks, check out the label for the new Autocracy brew. Made with Godfather weekend in mind, it's aptly entitled The Autocracy's Brew You Can't Refuse.
